Resting well: not optional
Resting well: not a luxury or something that lucky people get to do. It’s not just taking a nap or being physically still, it’s much more than that.
Coming from a former overachiever, this is essential for health: physically, mentally, spiritually.
In this workshop, I cover:
My story and what lead to burnout. How I transitioned out of that and truly began to prioritize rest. The 3 anchor method will help you have mini check-ins during the day. And finally, some practical ways you can prioritize resting well.
In your journey to wellness, you may have tunnel vision… which likely has you chasing your tail. Check out this free video training to help you see the bigger picture, gain clarity, and finally move forward in your health!
Questions for reflection:
Do I feel stress and overwhelmed most of the day?
What times to of the day do I feel most stressed?
Based upon what I just heard, do I ‘rest well’ at all during the day?
What are 3 times during the day that I could do a mini check-in and spend 10 minutes on me?
What is one area that I need to delegate?
Am I worth the focus and effort it might take to change in this area?
The truest ‘rest’ there is: Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.
