Prepare the coffee

Place 3 tablespoons of the coffee grounds in one quart (four cups) of purified or spring water on a pot on the stove. ( glass, ceramic, or stainless steel pot)

Bring this mixture to a boil and let it boil for 2-3 minutes. Then simmer at a low boil for 10 min. Once the timer goes off, turn the heat off and leave covered on the stove.

Pour boiled coffee through a fine mesh strainer into your enema bucket, making sure the tube is clamped closed!

Add extra water to this mixture to bring it up to 1 quart (4 cups). This will help you cool down the mixture. It’s important that this mixture be warm – not too hot, not too cool. Cool will constrict the colon and warm will open it up. Of course, you don’t want it TOO warm:) To test, do the pinky test- stick the end of your pinky in the liquid and if you can leave it in for 10 seconds it’s good. If not, it’s too hot.

If you are just beginning, you may want to start with a smaller amount. I suggest cutting it in half and starting with 2 cups. you can save the other mixture for your next coffee enema (use within 2-3 days).

Add in additional ‘add-ins’ if you want.

Get your space ready

Place a thick towel and a pillow for your head on the floor somewhat near the toilet:)
Hang the enema bag from a cabinet knob, which allows the bag to hang about 18-21 inches from the floor. If using an enema bucket, place the bucket on a stool, chair, or tub platform so that it is elevated about 18-21 inches above the floor.

Remove any air from the enema tubing by placing the tip of the tube in a tub or sink and holding the bucket above the tip so it will begin to flow then close the clamp.

Let’s do this

Lubricate the tip of the colon tube using coconut oil or other lubricant.

Lie on your right side and insert the colon tube slowly 2-4 inches into the rectum. If the tube kinks pull out and try again, as kinking will block the flow of the coffee.

Turn to your right side. Hold the coffee for 12-15 minutes. At first, it may be difficult to retain the enema. That is okay. Gradually work up to 12-15 minutes. Holding the enema longer than 15 minutes is counterproductive.

After 15 minutes, expel the liquid in the toilet.

After each use, clean the enema bag or bucket and tubing with hot water and soap (I like to use OnGuard cleaner concentrate). Rinse with hydrogen peroxide and hang to dry.

*Alternative method aka “Breaking the Dam” Method:

This method is used as a way to chisel away at the built-up biofilms and it’s easier for beginners definitely! The basis behind it is using less liquid and holding it for less time. So instead of trying to insert the entire amount of liquid, you would divide what you have into thirds and do 1/3 of the liquid, hold for 5 minutes and repeat two more times until all the liquid is gone.

FAQ:

What about the caffeine effect, I’m sensitive. You can follow your coffee enema with a water-only enema and this lessens or eliminates this issue.

Can I make a batch for the entire week?

A coffee concentrate can be made and stored in the refrigerator for 7 days, for your convenience. Bring 1 cup of organic coffee grounds and 1 quart purified or spring water to a boil for 5 minutes. Then simmer for 15 minutes. Strain.

Add additional purified or spring water to bring the coffee mixture to four cups. Use one-cup concentrate to three cups purified or spring water for each enema session (each enema session consists of two consecutive enemas).

How often should I do them?

2-3 times per week is good to start, but cofee enemas can be done daily.
